the door is sealed

24:00:00

You passed. This is the last thing between you and the inside — a day's wait. Not to keep you out, but to make sure you meant it; anyone can click, few come back a day later. When the seal breaks, the inside opens: what's pulling the future forward, what's holding it back, and the others who see it too.

01 · the horizon

What this pace buys us.

the milestones ahead — windows fitted by the cost-curve engine where a measured curve exists, and moved only by refits. tap a milestone for its engine rows and this week's evidence.

how these dates move — the rules

dates move when observations move fits — nothing else moves them. each milestone's engine rows show the fitted 80% crossing window of its tracked gates (curves.html) and the latest measured move, dated, from the public prediction ledger: an append-only row for every changed window, so consecutive rows ARE the movement. headlines accumulate as evidence under a milestone; they move its date only by becoming a measured observation that changes a fit. the % and the un-gated year windows remain our editorial read, labeled. ● tracks a measured curve · ◐ emerging, real but unproven at scale · ○ a speculative window, not a schedule.

THE PROGRESS INDEX
how these numbers are made → the method
TWO FORCES · NOT ONE NUMBER how much forward and friction coverage each compounded this window — not a measure of how much the world changed
forward coverage friction coverage their net — the index line above

most friction is potential and reversible — a filing, a proposal, a warning. the biggest forward stories are realized and permanent. subtracting one from the other loses exactly that, which is why the measured half lives in the value ledger below.

02 · the value ledger

What actually reached people.

measured human reach — every countable figure a source stated, summed by unit and split by how real it is. households, people and patients are separate totals: different units are never added together. the headline counts only what is installed.

why this matters — the straight-line trap

welcome to Many Minded — a living instrument for the exponential. While the world argues about the future, this hub plots it — tracking the cost of energy, health, knowledge, food and more as it falls toward zero, and showing you how much faster it moves day to day, and what's arriving next.

Humans think in straight lines. Technology compounds. That gap is where the fear lives — and where all the good hides. Every screen here makes the curve impossible to unsee.
